Kushal Gram Project

Overview

This initiative is a part of the Kushal Gram program and integrated approach towards development. It is not a standalone skilling initiative but involves a multi stake holder approach, including local village panchayats, kushal gram stake holders. Un-employment is the biggest issue in rural areas because of lack of knowledge and awareness about the technology being used in industry.

Being a part of Kushal Gram Initiative, we as PIA will train them in different job roles, under the common norms applicable to the PMKVY special Project.

In order to encourage the SHG to produce quality products, and develop a distinct identity, we have developed a brand identity for the SHG along with hangtags and banners. Local fairs were organised with the help and support of the DLM

The ultimate aim of the MMPL team is to enable the formation of a self-sufficient and confident group of women who are versed in quality work, design inputs and are market savvy.
